- What is a Personal Assistant?
-
A PA is a personal business assistant who supports a company director or a manager, taking autonomous and complementary responsibility for the matters delegated to her. She is a professional with recognised know-how, operating with a high level of skill who can free the decision maker's time and who shares his or her goals for successful project implementation.
- What is the difference between a PA and a management assistant?
-
The management assistant operates in a completely different discipline, but which can be adapted to the tasks of a PA.
A PA operates within a remit that is strictly defined, bridging the professional and personal life of the person who has chosen her. Although there is some similarity to a manager's aide, the PA’s strength lies in impressive communication skills. - Is it cost-effective to use the services of a PA?
-
The service provided by SW&Vous makes access to a personal business assistant more widely available to all. Entrepreneurs in complex and developing markets, directors of SMEs and micro-enterprises often have just as much need for top quality assistance, provided by a flexible and multi-skilled consultant, focused on their daily needs and suited to their budget as those who have used them in the past - traditionally within the domains of finance and the theatre.
- What is the cost of PA services?
-
As well as a daily fee as Project Assistant, I offer 50 and 100-hour subscriptions, which can be scheduled over a period of 1 to 6 months. The greater the number of hours contracted, the lower the hourly rate. With SW&Vous, you have the benefit of a part-time Project Assistant – communications expert – that assumes a finite and optimised HR investment suited to your needs.
- What won’t I do? Will a PA go to the dry cleaners, or collect the kids from school?
-
Those are the tasks of a lifestyle manager, or of a private assistant / concierge who works with individuals. Within the framework of the SW&Vous service, specifically for businesses, the nature of the services, which facilitate the day-to-day management of professional workloads, is evaluated at the start of the project.
- How can I trust a PA whom I do not know?
-
It is the purpose of this site to present my references. Discretion and a contractual undertaking for each project is the cornerstone of all my commitments. Additionally, the option of subscribing to the service – through an hourly package – gives the opportunity to check-out over time a mutual working relationship that will become more and more close and trusting.
- What are the similarities between a PA and a PR agent?
-
A PA is very much a communicator. She is the interface between the manager and all his or her contacts. She extends the image and message of the business, and of the principal him- or her-self, supporting their values, fitting into the environment and fully identifying with the projects she has committed to.
- Is SW&Vous a micro-PR agency?
-
As your PR project assistant, I will monitor and implement the successful development of your communication activities according to your specific requirements. If specialised skills are required (graphics, Web development, press relations etc.), I shall be happy to call upon my network of contacts on your behalf.
- Can anyone have a PA?
-
While the SW&Vous service is highly adaptable, it is primarily aimed at those enterprises looking for help with communications projects, a particular communications operation or activities. However, the unusual service I provide does not appeal to everyone, but I am always happy to work with talented, innovative and practical people.
- Is a PA a mentor?
-
Although a PA provides a personalised, à la carte service, adapted to the requirements of business, as coaches did 15 years ago, he or she is not a mentor. The scope of the consultancy does not include behavioural issues. However, a PA is an unfailing support, devoted to the achievement and success of your objectives.
- If I want to take you on to my project team, how do I proceed?
-
Contact me so that we can discuss your needs and my availability, as soon as possible. We will agree upon the timescale and scope for performance of my role, as well as our reporting method. At the end of this assessment, I will send you a fully costed proposal.
